High blood sugar occurs when your body can't effectively transport sugar from the blood into cells. One should do regular exercises to lose weight and increase insulin sensitivity. Exercising helps increase insulin sensitivity and help your muscles pick up sugars from the blood. Carbohydrates provide fuel for your body . When carbohydrates are digested in your body ,they are broken down into sugar. When your body is fasting the body eats up the sugar in your body . A low carb diet allows restricted amount of carbohydrates  to get digested by your body . Eating adequate amount of fiber can help with blood sugar control and soluble dietary fibre is very effective. When you intake enough amount of water it helps reduce blood sugar levels and help prevent diabetes. The better control you have on the calories you intake the less insulin will spike . One should control stress levels as the release of cortisol affects insulin sensitivity. One should have at least 10 hours of sleep . When you sleep growth hormone is released and insulin doesn't spike . Poor sleep can affect metabolic hormones. Using Apple cider vinegar as a part of your diet helps reduce blood sugar levels .
