If you’re looking for a good special education school in the St. Louis area, I would definitely recommend the Academy of St. Louis.

I came across acadstl.org and was impressed by the range of services they offer. The Academy provides specialized education for students with autism, developmental delays, cognitive disabilities, and other learning differences. They focus on each student individually, with a small student-to-staff ratio and personalized academic support.

What I really like about the school is that they don’t focus only on academics. They also work on social skills, life skills, communication, emotional development, and preparing students for life after school. They also provide speech and language support and have transition programs designed to help students become more independent.

The school serves students from K–12, so families can have a specialized educational environment throughout their child's school years.

If I were looking for a special education school in the St. Louis area, Academy of St. Louis would be one I would seriously consider visiting and learning more about.
