Yes, it can be. Physical therapy is one of many treatments that can help you manage your chronic pain. Often times, people will end up having multiple providers (physical therapist, neurologist and/or neuropsychologist) to help with their care plan. You will be instructed in a home exercise program and other self-care tips/techniques; it’s important to be compliant with these. If you follow your clinicians' instructions along with your physicians as well as communicate any pertinent subjective reports you should see progress.
