During a tune-up, the service staff will check the following:
Spark plugs: They are responsible for igniting the gasoline and air mixture that fuels your engine.
Spark plug wires: These transfer voltage created by your spark plug. Old wires can burn out and cause a misfire.
Fuel filters: They help stop debris from reaching your engine. A clogged fuel filter will lead to poor acceleration and poor engine performance.
Air filter: This prevents debris from entering the combustion engine. Poor airflow makes your engine work harder and causes your vehicle to lose horsepower.
During the tune-up, they can make sure each of these parts is performing correctly.
