Dr. Emily Hargrove

Dr. Emily Hargrove is an environmental scientist and research ecologist based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with over 17 years of experience studying freshwater ecosystems, climate-driven habitat change, and biodiversity conservation. She earned her PhD in Environmental Science from MIT and has conducted fieldwork in the Great Lakes region, Appalachian forests, and coastal wetlands of New England. Dr. Hargrove has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in journals including Environmental Science & Technology and Ecology Letters and has collaborated on projects funded by NOAA and the EPA.
